Extra Strength Garlic contains certified organic garlic in two forms, as an odor-controlled 10:1 strength garlic extract – containing 3000 ppm of allicin – and as garlic powder. Combined, they provide the equivalent of 1800 mg of garlic. Our Extra Strength Garlic comes from family farms, and is prepared using techniques that preserve the full spectrum of phytonutrients that garlic has to offer. We’ve also included organic parsley, to further help reduce the after-odor common with many garlic supplements.

Garlic has been a staple in traditional medicine dating back more than 5,000 years. Understandably so, since to date there have been more than 700 studies assessing the various benefits of garlic for health and wellness.
But the benefits have always come at a price – odor and aftertaste! Through a careful and methodical process of drying, aging, and extraction, we’ve been able to bring out the beneficial compounds in garlic while decreasing much of the harsh and irritating compounds.

Drying – Our garlic is allowed to dry naturally for two weeks in an airy, room temperature environment.
Aging – Next, our garlic is aged over a twenty-month period. This slow-aging helps reduce the odor of the powder.
Extraction – During our prolonged extraction process, our organic garlic cloves go through various enzymatic and natural chemical exchanges that enhance the active ingredients and help to deliver a more uniform dose.

Of course it all begins with the finest garlic bulbs. Ours are planted at the start of the fall in cool, well drained soil, to encourage large high-quality cloves. Using only organic soils, compost, and leaves provides the best cover in the colder months to come, when the bulbs grow deep in the chilly ground waiting for spring.

During the harvest, special care is given to the newly formed cloves to prevent damaging the delicate covering that naturally protects against rot and premature drying. And our quality control team is there from start to finish to ensure that we are using only the best bulbs for our powder and are able provide you with a superior organic garlic supplement – year after year, thanks to our sustainable farming practices.
