SAMe, also known as S-Adenosyl Methionine, is a water soluble nutrient that is the result of a complex reaction in the body between the amino acid methionine and ATP.^? When taken daily, Nature's Lab SAMe may help support joint health as well as replenish the body's SAMe levels to support neural function and healthy mood.^?

SAMe is considered a natural and safe aid for mood support.^? Healthy SAMe levels may serve an important role in neural function and mood but can run low in the body due to various factors such as aging and diet.^? Nature's Lab SAMe supports the production of neurotransmitters by enhancing the binding of hormones and their specific cell receptors.^?This has the potential to help promote neural interactions and enhance mood.^?^¹

SAMe is an important compound that is distributed throughout the body tissues and fluids, playing an essential role in many biochemical reactions.^? In addition to supporting mood and neural function, SAMe may also help support joint health.^? Studies have shown that SAMe may help support joint health by reducing inflammation, increasing the creation of proteins in connective tissue and having an analgesic effect.^?²Supplementing with Nature's Lab SAMe may help enhance mobility, movement, cartilage protection and joint comfort.^?

SAMe is a highly reactive, fragile molecule that degrades rapidly under high heat or humidity. Improper handling of SAMe can cause degradation in a matter of hours. Thus, the manufacturing process for Nature’s Lab SAMe is done under low temperature and low humidity, and the tablet is enteric coated and blister-packed in Italy. The product is then transported to our facility, where our team tests for quality, purity and potency to ensure that we deliver the highest quality SAMe.

Suggested Use: Start with 1 tablet per day. Take with water before and during ingestion. The best time to take SAMe is on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before a meal. If benefits are not achieved within two weeks, you may require a higher level of supplementation. To determine the proper level of supplementation that works for you, gradually increase the number of tablets (maximum 1600 mg/day or 4 tablets per day) until benefits are achieved.

Other Ingredients: Cellulose, methacrylate copolymer, glycerol behenate, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, mannitol, magnesium silicate, titanium dioxide, triethyl citrate, sodium starch glycolate, riboflavin (for coloring).

Free of: Milk, Eggs, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Shellfish, Fish, Soy, Gluten, Artificial Colors.

Warnings: Individuals using prescribed medications, such as antidepressants (including Serotonin Re-Uptake Inhibitors and MAO Inhibitors), should consult a physician before using. Individuals with Parkinson's disease, bipolar disorder or manic depression should not use SAMe. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Do not exceed recommended dose. May cause gastrointestinal upset in some people. If you experience discomfort, discontinue use.
